I have an idea that I believe will transform Inhaled Therapy.

In India, traditionally there is a strong history of smoking and burning incense sticks. Smoking is quite addictive and also dangerous.

I have an idea, how about administering Asthma medications in the form of specially made megarettes? I just made that word up from Medicated Cigarettes!

I did a search for this concept and found out about Herbal cigarettes!

However, it is essential to note that smoking any form of cigarette, even if medicated, can have harmful effects on health.

Asthma medications that survive burning and remain active for inhalational therapy should ideally include inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting beta-agonists, and leukotriene inhibitors. These medications are typically delivered through devices such as jet nebulizers, ultrasonic nebulizers, or metered dose inhalers (MDIs)

I hope that my invention will help delivering smokers the medicines that will treat their asthma in the best way they know, thus increasing compliance.

I also discovered in this article that over a hundred years ago also people had tried to smoke to relieve their Asthma.
